Description:
Austin seven 750cc race tuned engine with a race cam giving it 50 bhp as per a rolling road test.
The suspension has been lowered for sprints, hillclimbs or circuit racing.
It has an 1 ½“ Phoenix pressure feed crank.
Up rated oil pump and filter system.
Lightened fly wheel and clutch.
Hydraulic brakes.
Twin carbs.
Side 4 into 1 exhaust system
4 speed straight cut gears, with a remote change gear stick.
Ulster body, which is a Rod Yates short-wheel base aluminium body.
Leather strapped bonnet and rear petrol tank cover.
15” spoked wheels.
One driver’s seat in green.
Full tonneau cover, with a zip down the middle so only the driver’s side need be removed for driving.
Fly screen.
It has an MSA log book.
It is a well known car on the sprints and hillclimb circuits, with the nick name of “Tango”.
This is a racing car and not a road going car.
The current owner has raced it for a number of years in the Pre-War Austin Seven Club, Bert Hadley Championship and has won several trophies. This car is also suitable for 750MC Trophy series.
