BMW E36 M3 “Supertourer” built in 1996-chassis number 009

Driven by Johnny Cecotto in selected rounds of ADAC Touring Car Cup

Originally built by BMW Motorsport using the suspension and anti roll bar systems designed by McLaren.

The car was sold to G and A Motors, Turnhout, Belgium and here the original S42 engine was removed, replacing it with the 6 cylinder M3 engine. The wide arch body kit was also fitted at this time.

Mark Smith/David Cuff (UK) then purchased the car and raced it for many years in various Championships, selling it on in 2006 to the current owner.
