Here we have my VW Golf Mk6 race car for sale. I have owned the car for nearly 4 years and the car has undergone a full strip down, upgrade and rebuild under my ownership. We have been racing the car in the 750MC Club Enduro series (B class, 240BHP per tonne). The car is absolutely top spec and well looked after and is definitely capable of reaching the top step in the right hands. Genuine reason for sale as looking to purchase a TCR but this will need to be sold before this happens. Here is a full detailed spec of the car:

Engine

CDL engine

83mm Omega Pistons (block has been machined)

ZRP rods

Billet TSR spec oil pump with motorsport baffles.

Head has been fully reworked

New standard spec KO4

4 x new injectors

PCV delete running to external catch tank.

Custom made top spec intercooler. 

Full hard pipe intercooler kit.

VIS motorsport high pressure fuel pump with roller rocker upgrade.

New timing belt kit, head chain and oil pump chain. 

Darkside performance alloy rad.

External mocal oil cooler on front radiator pack.

VW racing air intake .

Scorpion downpipe with race cat match to custom straight through exhaust system. I do have a middle silencer than can be fitted as exhaust may be on the limit for standard trackdays. The cat/downpipe has been professionally heat wrapped by Immico. 

Engine has been mapped at TSR and runs at a comfortable 317bhp. Engine bottom end work only been carried out for reliability for endurance racing. 

Full ATL 120 litre tank fitted and relocated behind driver for endurance racing. Quickfill ATL union on side of car.

Oil has been changed every other race to keep engine in top condition. 

Gearbox 

DSG DQ250 semi automatic gearbox.

Gripper differential 

New clutch packs

Mechatronics has been mapped by TSR

Upgraded standard cooler

External DSG gearbox oil cooler to cooler on front radiator pack.

Running gear

AST 5300 3 way adjustable suspension

Full verkline front and rear suspension arms with spherical bearings. All fully adjustable.

Adjustable front and rear ARB with adjustable droplinks.

AP Pro 5000R 6 pot calipers running BTCC discs on custom made Darkside bells. Endurance spec Pagid pads. 

Rears brake setup with running inline dual proportioning valve to limit rear brake as required. 

Fully operation ABS system running from Wilwood master cylinders and race pedal box.

TCR golf wheels 18x10 fitted all round. Currently running Yokohama AO52 265/35/18s

Car has been fully seam welded from when stripped back to bare shell from when I first bought it. 

Yellowspeed 4 air jack system with connection point in fuel flap port.

Body/aero

GTI bumpers with VW cup body kit with wide front and rear arches. Rears have been extended slightly further to accept TCR wheels at rear aswell.

Lightweight bonnet with cooling pods.

Custom made splitter with air dam and ducting pods for brake cooling hoses. 

Fully flat floored front to rear with custom made diffuser with exit for exhaust. 

Full poly carbonate window set with drivers window slide opening. 

Bulkhead and underside of car has all been wrapped with Gold heat resistant tape.

Interior

Left hand drive for better weight distribution.

Sparco racing seat. 

Sparco 6 point harness 

Recently serviced electric fire extinguisher with nearly 2 years date left. Correct amount of nozzles and positionings.

Aim dash with data and timings display.

Custom made centre dash with all switches in good reach of driver. 

Internal blower for side windows in wet race.

Heated windscreen for wet race.

Roof pod for driver cooling. 

Lightweight battery located in passenger footwell. 

Bars in place for fitment of passenger seat.

The car is based in Leominster, Herefordshire. Viewings welcome and advised. The car can be seen on a ramp. Happy to do a track day handover for the new buyer.
