1965 Saab Monte Carlo 850 FIA Race Car

This beautifully built and prepared Saab Monte Carlo 850 is ready to race.
The car has all the best and correct parts.

Originally built for track and ice track racing, the car left the Trollhattan factory in 1965. It has a unique, well-documented history.

From 1966 to 1969, the car served as a factory vehicle for the Finnish Saab importer. Its first driver was the renowned Mr. Simo R. Lampinen, who achieved at car an impressive record of 38 wins out of 57 starts.

The car’s total mileage is just 32,500 kilometers. It underwent a meticulous restoration between 2013 and 2018. A video documenting its history and restoration process is included.

Both engines of the car have just been serviced. The engines were built and maintained by Mikael Mohlin. from Sweden. Engines haven't been raced since the service. 

The car has a close ration gearbox special 1, recently serviced.  

 Current FIA HTP until 31.12.2028

Additionally, the car has received museum vehicle approval in Finland. The car is also road registered.

The car and spare parts can be sold separately.
