A friend has a 289 engine that he is looking to sell…it was originally built by Steve Warrior and apprantly a apendix k engine..

It has forged steel billet crank, forged steel rods which are 5.315” in length, forged ross racing high compression pistons, High performance camshaft, high volume oil pump, Billet main caps and steel main cap girdle, ported and polished 1964 289 heads with uprated larger valves and valve springs with rocker studs

The bottom end is all together and so are the heads, the rotating assembly looks fairly new to me..its been in his garage for several years..theres no rust on the block at all ,has new freeze plugs etc water jackets been thoroughly cleaned out ..
