This ex-works Mitsubishi (Chassis No. JMBSNE11Y70441) is in race-ready condition. Now eligible for Historic Rallies such as the Tour de Corse Historique, with four wheel drive and four wheel steering it should be very competitive, and reliable with a relatively under stressed engine.

The car won the 1990 Cote d’Ivoire Bandama Rally driven by Patrick Tauziat, a local driver. It was then left in the Ivory Coast as the cost of transport back to Japan was deemed prohibitive.

After being brought back to France it was purchased by the present owner prior to its sale at RM Sotheby’s in Monaco, and was prepared by a well-known Mitsubishi rally specialist in Frejus.

I am selling the car on behalf of a friend, the current owner.

Car is fitted with an EVO1 version of the gearbox (synchronised). XTrac box is available, cost about 10,000 Euro plus VAT.

It can be inspected near Nice, and a test can be arranged for interested parties.
