1965 Crosslé 7S 65/25
Description:
This Crosslé 7S was one of the first sports cars produced by John Crosslé.
Built in 1965, this 7S was one of a pair supplied to the Irish SUPERTUNE team in Dublin.
Driven by Jim Cooney, the cars were entered in a race at the Solitude circuit near Stuttgart's west end.
The Crosslé factory completed the car a few days later, and believe it or not, he drove it all the way to Stuttgart, about 1,000 miles!
Both Supertune cars were entered in the Easter Monday Lavant Cup at Goodwood (11/04/1966).
In 2006, Arnie Black acquired the car from Mr. Maltuse, its owner for 30 years, and brought it back to the factory, where it was painstakingly rebuilt.
The car has since competed in classic car meetings, including Goodwood in September 2006 (finishing ninth).
The car is for sale with a valid PTH, and the engine has been completely rebuilt for the GOODWOOD REVIVAL 2025 event.
for the end of year , the car win the last race in ASAVE at Paul Ricard
