Delta T81 Historic Formula Ford 2000. A unique opportunity to purchase an exceptional car with an interesting history. It was originally built for Charles Barter for hill climbing use. Taking a Championship win.

It was also driven successfully on the hills by Richard Homer, Roger and Scott Moran and Simon Durling.

In 2008 it was converted to Historic FF2000 specification where it raced including some outings in the Dutch Monoposto Series. Since this period and prior to my acquisition the car has been the subject of a truly fastidious rebuild. From the chassis up. The chassis was regigged and powdercoated and fitted with a new floor pan and baulkhead. Fitted also with new items including all 4 Koni Double adjustible shock absorbers. All wheel bearings, wishbones, and radius rods, steering column, gauges, stack rev counter, brake bias unit, also a brand new top body section. Nose cone, side panels, hand made both long range fuel tank (SPA) and oil tank, 're-built steering rack, alloy radiator, high torque starter.etc.

Beautifully hand made exhaust system (single one continuous piece headers no joints) and collecter unit with stainless legal silencer. Also complete (U.R.S.) lightweight rear wing. Also fitted with Lifeline LED two way rain light. Since fitted with in date Hans seatbelts and a Lifeline Zero 360 electronic fire extinguisher. Fitted this year with the latest Delta 4 X stub axles and rear lock nut units. Brand new odyssey race 30 battery also replaced this year. The car has HSCC (VIF) Philspeed engine, Hewland  MK8/9 gearbox. Well-known and admired car in FF2000. Minimal use whilst in my ownership. This Car must be seen to be truly appreciated.
