Description:

Here we have for sale my Westfield xtr2

This is truly a very rare opportunity to buy probably the most famous Westfield ever produced.

This is possibly the first XTR2 build by the factory and was their demonstrator at the time covering everything from Westfield own promotional documents to being reviewed on top gear and being driven by the old stig (S1 E3)

With this being Westfield’s demonstrator it was built using all the best parts and has evolved from then.

I bought the car nearly 3 years ago and collected from the Westfield factory with the engine needing to be refitted and the rest of the car was put back together and MOT’d June 17 the engine then gave up August 17 at snetterton, needing an extensive rebuild. The engine was sent to extreme engines to be fixed, They stripped the engine and found it needed a new head, pistons, liners.

Once complete and fitted the car was run in, mapped and corner weighted at Northampton motorsport in April 18 the car produced 200bhp and weighed in at 505kg with a tank of fuel.

since then the car has run faultless covering around 800miles. During winter 2018-2019 a new race Technology dash 2 pro was installed.

The spec is as follows

Engine

Gen1 Hayabusa

Bored out to 1400cc

Gas flowed head

High comp pistons

Extreme engines Dry sump

Extreme engines billet clutch basket

Power commander

Flat shifter

Flat shifter blipper (not fitted)

Brakes

AP 4 pot callipers

Vented disks all round

Interior

JK comp carbon/ fibreglass seats

Sabelt 4 point harnesses

Race Technology dash 2 pro with GPS

Titan quick rack

Wheels / tyres

Team dynamics 1.2

Avon road legal slicks

My plan was to have the car painted this coming winter as there are some marks on the bodywork and a couple of small cracks but nothing that affect the the car in any way or draw from the attention the car pulls when seen.

The car was originally orange and grey and there are split opinions as to wether it should stay in gulf colours or go back to original.

These cars cars started life being rare and now are very hard to find, and to find a road legal one is near impossible, add to that this is Westfield’s show car and has tv / magazine history this makes it one of a kind.
