Description:

Ford Escort 1.3

Nice rally car project or could be used as is with a small bit of work.

Complete car that starts and drives, last MOT/TUV was in 2017.

Original colour was orange and not gold, paintjob isn’t brilliant and is flacking off in places.

Exterior:

The exterior looks nice and straight and doesn’t seem to have had any mayor repairs, looks quite original and all the places that need looking at are clearly visible. All the boot, bonnet and door gaps are very good.

Interior:

The interior is intact and quite good for its age, driver’s seat is a bit worn. Roof lining hasn’t got any rips and is quite clean, rubber floor mat is also in good original condition. I lifted the floor mats up in places to have a look at the floor, they still have the original sound proofing attached.

Engine bay/Boot area:

The engine bay is solid and original, apart from being sprayed mat black. The black paint is flacking off and looks like it could all be removed quite easily.

The boot area is also nice and solid, spare wheel well will need some welding and under the fuel tank (common areas).

Underneath/Chassis:

As you will see in the photos, it looks quite good and hasn’t had much welding in the past. The few previous weld areas are clearly visible in the photos and seem to be only on the chassis rails, floors look nice and original. The only main bit of rust affected areas that are visible are as mentioned above and to the front corner of the passenger floor.
