Nice and original condition Lotus Talbot Sunbeam.

As you will see in the many detailed photos it is in very good original condition, wheels and front seats have been changed but other than that totally original.

Mechanically very good, always been maintained and driven to keep everything in working order.

Engine always starts first thing and sound nice, no nasty knocks or rattles. Pulls very well throughout the gears and gearbox is working as it should.

It has a valid Finnish MOT/TUV so passing the inspection shouldn’t be a problem.

I have had a good look around the car and it looks in nice untouched condition, it has some surface rust on the body (see photos) but nothing mayor at all. Panels look nice and straight and are not showing signs of previous repairs.

The underneath and chassis are in remarkable good original condition, if it has been welded in the past I can’t see it. The only area that will need renewing/welding is the spare wheel well, it has rotted around the edges and is quite loos (can be pushed up & down).

Interior is original and in good condition for its age, rear bench seat is looking a bit saggy, roof lining has a small tear and front seats are not original (original front seats are not included if the car).

Front screen has a small crack near the rear view mirror.

All in all this is a very nice and well preserved Lotus Sunbeam, not your average rusted and repaired vehicle. It is ready to be used and enjoyed, gets plenty of attention wherever it goes. If you want a show car then it will require some work but mainly only cosmetic.
