Description:

Originally built for the 2012 Pikes Peak by NovaRace and Lightning and entered in the EV class where it placed third. The car is based around a standard Nova F600 frame but with extensive modifications to the standard frame, suspension and drive train.

It can be powered by most suitably sized bike engines (such as R1 and GSXR 1000CC units), electric motors (such as Remy 90R) and gas turbines (such as the Lucas CR201).

The car is offered as a complete rolling chassis with brakes, suspension, uprights, switch panel, steering gear etc. in place and serviced ready for a power unit and associated systems to be installed.

Full Spec of the car is:

- Tubular and square section space frame with integral roll cage, flat floor and CFD developed multi-piece fiberglass composite body.

- Double wishbone front suspension with billet aluminium uprights and push rod/rocker actuated inboard Penske dampers.

- Trailing arm rear suspension with inboard pushrod Penske dampers and billet aluminium uprights.

- Floating discs front and rear with 5Axis two piston billet calipers, Tilton master cylinders and Tilton Bias Adjuster.

- Quaife steering rack with billet aluminium mounts and quick release steering wheel.

- Keizer spun aluminium wheels with billet centres.

- Total weight with GSXR engine and supporting systems circa 325KG

The car has been completely stripped and rebuilt before sale and the chassis has been freshly powdercoated. All joints where required are new and all suspension components such as wishbones have been stripped, crack tested and recoated. A photo record of this process has been kept and is available to the buyer.

This would be an extremely competitive car in hill climb or a crazy track day toy. Having competed at Pikes Peak previously there is also the possibility of running the car again there.

Included with the car are an extra set of wheels fitted with intermediate new Hoosier tyres, a new set of Hoosier slicks and a part worn set fitted to the car. A complete set of front wishbones, rear suspension subframe, drive chain, sprocket, rear suspension trailing arms, two additional choices of rear spring and one set of alternative front springs.
