Radical SR08 RAD. Its just completed a two-and-a-half-year restoration at North Motorsport. the Radical is unique as being one of a handful of registered and previously owned by the designer of the Radical V8 engine. Will have fresh MOT at point of sale. 

Radical UK road registered SR08 RAD

Original owner was Ex Steve Prentice Desginer of the Radical V8 Engine . Full and extensive two-year mechanical re- build retaining original body work.  Previously covered 14K miles including European trips and track days. This included the North Coast 500! Lightweight body work with dual plane rear wing.  RPE 2.6 litre V8 engine of 400bhp and a rev limit of 10,500 rpm.  Quaife six speed semi-automatic gearbox has a paddle shift.

The car weighs 650 kg and is fitted with quick lift jacks, centre lock wheels, a hi-force bi-plane rear wing, quick release steering wheel, floating disc brakes, 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds, 50-100 mph in 4.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 178 mph. With current gearbox ratios. Suspention alinment as been done. 

The SR8 held  the lap record for a road legal vehicle at the Nürburgring of 6.48.28 minutes, driven by Michael Vegers, and in 2015 it won the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb.

Great factory and independent support. have all the factory manuals and a limited number of notes from Steve Prentice. Original purchase receipt from Radical in Steves name.  Its an an acquired taste to drive on the road. Fantastic on track days.
