Lotus Super Seven S2

6 owners and only 48,000 miles recorded, which is believed genuine. Many old invoices and MoT's, including the purchase invoices from the Lotus factory, along with the original buff log book which records the uprated engine change in 1965. In the main, cherished by one very long term owner before being rebuilt as original by Kelvedon Lotus with the help of Arch Motors in the early 2000's. Purchased in 2005 by the Phillips family from Mike Abbas for son Oliver to race in HSCC Historic Roadsports during 2006/7. No expense spared specialist race preparation and race support, including an engine refresh, the installation of a roll over bar by Arch motors, and five genuine 5.5J Minilite wheels with Yokohama A048 tyres. Subsequently purchased from Paul Matty Sportscars in 2009 by Simon Hope, MD of H&H Classics, for his sons to use in speed events but very little used. Resprayed in H&H 'house' colours. None of the race preparation is irreversible or changes what is a fundamentally original example of an early Seven with with an exceptional history and provenance. I have owned the car for a year but, due to a change of plans, it is now for sale on my behalf.
