Lotus Eleven S2 Le Mans 

According to Lotus history specialist Graham Capel, this Lotus Eleven Series 2 LM was delivered in London in 1957 and raced until the 1960s. In 1964, the vehicle was converted into a GT and fitted with bodywork. In this GT configuration, the Lotus was raced at Crystal Palace in June 1965, for example. Various photographs of this event are available. The "GT bodywork" is also included with the vehicle. There is also an English road registration document (V5 / Vehicle Registration Document) and a "Lotus History & Research" report by Graham Capel.

The current owner purchased the vehicle in England in early 2022 and imported it into the EU. We are now offering this beautiful Lotus Eleven S2 LM for sale again.

The Lotus is equipped with a 1,500 cc Coventry Climax engine and is ready for immediate use. The last race of the vehicle was in October 2023 in Estoril as part of a Peter Auto event.

The vehicle is supplied with various spare parts, including a second set of wheels, second seat, original replacement doors, the GT bodywork from the 1960s and much more.

This is a wonderful vehicle for taking part in Peter Auto events such as "The Gentelman Challenge" or "Le Mans Classic".
