Offered for sale is our 1973 Lola T332 HU16. Originally purchased and driven by Kevin Bartlett, then later by Johnny Walker, winning the 1979 Australian Grand Prix and drivers championship. See pic of signboard for more details. 

Purchased by current owner in 2009, it underwent a 2 year, back to bare tub restoration. Every single part of the car was rebuilt or replaced. There was no expense spared on the restoration, which cost well  in excess of the asking price! 

It was only raced for 10 race meetings after the restoration was completed. It has since been checked over, new bearings fitted to engine (although not required) and a new CWP and full set of gears and dog rings, yet to be run in.

Other details include oil heaters in the dry sump tank, rear driveshafts converted from the troublesome U/J's to CV joints with bespoke shafts, driver footwell area has rasied bodywork to allow drivers with over size 6 feet some room, as does cockpit area, which the bodywork was modified to suit 6'2: driver. A well known and admired car in NZ, and must surely represent exceptional value at the asking price.
