This is a well know car in the HSCC 70’s Roadsports Championship, and has not been beaten in it’s class for the last three seasons, resulting in 3 back-to-back Class Championship titles in 2012, 2013 and 2014 as well as winning the overall 70’s Roadsports Championship outright in 2013, collecting the 'Classic and Sportscar’ and 'Lotus’ trophies in the process. Over the last three seasons, the car has a formidable record of race results, including 19 outright race wins, a further 7 podiums, and 15 pole positions out of a total of 34 race starts. The car has been maintained to the highest of standards with many new parts fitted ready for the new season including all new rear suspension and a brand new aluminium radiator. Seat belts, fire extinguisher etc are all in date and the car has a current HSCC Vehicle Identification Form (VIF) filed with the club. The engine is built and maintained by John Smirthwaite of JS Motorsports, and has a dyno sheet showing 163bhp, and a virtually flat torque curve.
