Restored 1967 Mini Cooper S. This car has been rebuilt using new parts supplied by Swiftune, MED, Mini Spares, KAE and Heritage.

Body was in very good condition with little rust. Panels changed, both front mudguards, inners, front panel, A panels and door skins. This was professionally done and finished. Resprayed in original Island Blue and Snowberry White. All new chrome parts, lighting and rubber items.

Interior: original 130 mph speedo, temperature and pressure gauges, Smiths rev counter. Two interior and two exterior mirrors, switch panel in driver's door pocket.

New in date (expiry 2028) seat, 6 point harness, fully plumbed in 4 jet extinguishing system. Momo14 inch dished steering wheel, polycarbonate side windows, laminated front screen. Full Safety Devices FIA Cage. 
Works wheel arches.

Suspension: New subframes strengthened and stiffened. New neg. Camber bottom arms, adjustable tie rods, new discs, calipers, aeroquip hoses throughout, new hubs 7-16 studs, Timken bearings, comp. cones, hi-lows, lowered comp. shocks and brackets. High ratio rack and H.D. Steering arms. 
 

Rear Suspension: reconditioned swing arms, neg. camber brackets, lowered dampers, KAD race anti roll bar, new brakes, back plates, mini fins and brake bias control. Minilite wheels with new 160/490 by 10 Dunlop slicks. 4 spare minilites fitted with Dunlop R7.

Engine: all steel, crank, rods, flywheel and plate, orange diaphragm. Omega forged race pistons. Duplex vernier timing gears, SW23 billet camshaft, 1.5 roller rockers, big valve race head, twin 1 3/4inch HS6SU carbs on maniflow inlet and exhaust manifold. Swiftune race distributor, coil, cap and leads. 16 row oil cooler, large radiator, plus slim front m/c radiator.

Straight cut drop gears, straight cut close ratio 4speed g/box, 3.9 final drive fitted to Quaif LSD, hardi spicers and comp. drive shafts.

Car comes with loads of spares.

Car, sitting on a brand new Todaro EU certified trailer (used once last May). Still has a 2year guarantee certificate.

This car has a valid 10 year FIA certificate. It has competed in hill climbing and circuit racing in Malta and Italy and is a top 3 runner. Only reason for sale is my age , 77 years. I have been racing minis of all categories since the age of 18 till last May.
