This beautiful MGB has been fully restored with all parts and components being replaced or refurbished. It benefits from a bare metal respray and is immaculate on top inside and underneath. Fitted with full roll cage plumbed in fire extinguishers seat and fia harness.
The engine has been newly built by leading race engine experts Mass Racing as a 1950cc with new Webber conversion producing in the region of 150 hp on the Dyno. Cost of over £10K.
Since then it has covered less than 500 road miles gently running in and a track testing session where it proved very quick and tractable.
Tyres are Toyo Proxes 888R almost zero wear plus two new spares. The comes comes with original refurbished SU carbs and manifold, original seats and new set of original wheels and new tyres.
My plan was to race in the Equipe 70s and MG Cup but it is eligible for numerous other classes but due to an imminent overseas move plans have changed.
This is already a competitive car but with plenty of scope for further development and personalisation. The trailer is not included but available. Who ever buys this car will be delighted and enjoy the admiration it gets in the paddock or wherever it goes. The car is road legal and easily converted back to a fast road car if desired.
