Mk2 Ford Escort originally Jhon Edwards famous class B Thundersaloon raced in the 80s, The car was later Restored from a bare shell by Darren Green motorsport in 2011. i have the full photo book of the restoration. The car was later raced by pete edwards winning the special saloons championship. i later bought the car and competed in the special saloons for a short time with great success winning my first ever meeting in a circuit car. we have since fitted a brand new Anderson built 2.5 Millington XE engine all alloy, dynoed at 333HP coupled to an new Elite 6 speed sequential Box, New 2 piece prop to get car lower, car has 3 sets of wheels and tyres. including the original mag turbo comps. New set of wets not used on rims, 1 meeting old set slicks on image wheels, set of inters on wheels. New fire kit in date. Big AP brakes all round 330mm, New Rebuilt Atlas axle and special diff made by sp components, 2x spare Zf diffs rebuilt like new. Brand new spedeworth style front wings and bonnet as i didnt like the old style front wings. New stacks Digi dash all programed by 213 performance, DTA ecu. New Alloy strut tops custom made by CNC motorsport.
