British race car builder Chevron founded by Derek Bennet developed a series of highly reliable and successful competition cars that were built in modest quantities. The B36 was introduced in 1976 and achieved multiple victories at Vallelunga, Suzuka, the Targa Florio and in the Le Mans 24-hour race.

According to a report issued by John Starkey in 2019, CH-76-02 was one of several cars owned and run by the ROC (Racing Organization Course) team of France who entered their B36’s in the 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979 Le Mans 24-hour races as well as in other Intonational Sportscar races.

In 1980 ROC sold the car to Mr. Thierry Lejeune who used it in Hill climbs and in Group 6 circuit racing until the late 80’s.

In 1987 the car was delivered to Mr. Gerard Burggraaf of Belgium who restored the car on behalf of well-known Gentleman racer Jean Blaton who raced it under his usual pseudonym “Beurlys”.

In 2003 the car was sold to Mr. Richard Bryan from Tennessee USA at which time we believe the Pierre du Nord livery was applied.

Under his ownership the car was raced at Le Mans Classic in 2004, 2006 and 2008.

Under recent ownership the car has been completely recommissioned in all aspects including an engine rebuild by Mark Solloway of Blue Sky Engineering UK. The car will be delivered with a new FIA HTP and is ready to race.
