This is a Real piece of Ford Motorsport History with loads of History/Provinence Boreham Used it as their Saloon Car Racer throughout 71/72 Season mainly in Europe, then in 1973 converted it to a Rally Recce Car and used it to recce the 1973 Monte etc.

As you can see it's a Project however It’s been fully restored back to exact 71/72 Spec by RSD in Malton,York.
Period Correct 1 off Brazed Rolling Shell, correct 1 off Compression Strut/Anti Rollbar front Suspension set-up, 1 off Rear Torsion Bar set-up, 1 off Tanks etc, Aluminium Skinned Doors, 1 Off (wider saloon Car) Aluminium Arches, it’s all period correct to a very high standard ! 

I’ve easily done over £50k to get the shell to this point, I have a ZF Race Box, 2.0 BDG (Needs Crank & Rods & building) It also ran 1850 Iron block BDA. 
The Axle needs internals.
All the hard works done it needs painting & finishing and who know’s what it could be worth, Period Saloon Car Racers fetch a lot more than Rally Cars especially with the Provenance this has !!! 

I'll sell the rolling Shell  with the Tanks Suspention separately if a buyer prefers to use their Running Gear, at a figure that allows movement to finish it & still be in profit, Ex-Works Saloon Car Racers change hands for £250K plus !! 
 

This is perfect for either a Historic Touring Cars, Peter Auto Racing Series or a Museum Show Piece, it's at that stage where you can finish it to what you prefer. 

This is a very reluctant Sale as it's Been part on my life for over 10 Years, so if it doesn't sell I'll finish it!!
