I am offering this car for sale on behalf of a good friend. However, the car is in his workshop and he will be involved in the sale.

Purchased in 1999 by the current owner and raced for many years in series such as Supersports, Steigenberger, Orwell, Thundersports as well as the Castle Combe GT championship.

2.0 litre BDG engine last rebuilt by Craig Beck in December 2018.Dyno’d at 287 BHP. The gearbox is an FG casing with FT200 internals.

The car has only competed at eight race meetings since the engine rebuild, the last one being in 2022. However, the engine has been started every three months and brought up to temperature. A water preheat system is fitted and the equipment is included in the sale.

The car isn’t pristine cosmetically but is in sound mechanical order as it finished its last race in 2022.

Being sold with spare ratios, three sets of wheels and a full set of body moulds. The car has expired FIA papers.

There is a large history file with the car together with period photos of the car in its early days. There is also a large A4 lever arch file detailing the invoices, dyno sheets and work done over the last twenty five years.

The current owner, George Douglas, has taken the decision to retire from circuit racing and is now offering the car for sale.

Asking price is £62,500. The car can be viewed in BS37, South Gloucestershire.

The Martin’s two car trailer with an awning is available at an additional cost if required.
