This car is a faithful and almost correct recreation of the Mc Laren M1C Can Am of 1967.
The car is build on a spare chassis, body and front suspension of Autotune Ltd., who reproduce McLaren spare parts of the Can Am Era. The engine is a 4.0 litre Rover V8, build by RPI Engineering and should deliver close to 300 HP. Which is more than enough for a 730 kg car. The engine runs on 4 twin Dellorto carburettors. The gearbox is of a Lotus Esprit Turbo, which makes the car more driveable in traffic.
The car is road registered in austria and could so easy be registered all over the EU, which makes it possibly a one off road going Can Am car.
The mileage of the car is less than 3000 mls ( only done some sunday morning runs).
The car will always be the star at historic car meets.
