Description:

This MGA 1600 Mk1 Coupé (FHC) was delivered new, standard, in November 1959 on the domestic market (England). When it left the factory, it was presented in a black shade with a red interior before being gradually transformed into a racing car years later.

It proudly displays since this very beautiful pale green shade (Ash Green).

Light, low, harnessed, raised, reinforced, sharpened ... When this MGA was transformed into the racing car, nothing was left to chance.

It has a BMC 4 cylinder engine of 1588cc that develops 127hp with two SU HS6.

From 2009, this MGA was solicited in competition and has met with many successes in the hands of its various owners.

Until 2016, it was expressed in many championships in Great Britain (MG Car Club, Thoroughbred Sports Cars Championship, HSCC, VSCC etc).

It was then maintained and prepared at Richard Thorne Classic Cars, a British specialist recognized in the world of Morgan.

Thus, nearly £15,000 (€17,000) was spent between June 2012 and April 2014 to make the car perform. The invoices for these works come with the car.

In 2016, the car left its native England to reach France. She took her owner several times on the highest podium step of the Asavé 65 as part of the FFSA Historic Tour where she spoke for three years until the end of 2018.

As a token of her performance and excellent health, she won the last three rounds of this championship in which she took part that year (6 May 2018 at Dijon-Prenois, 27 May 2018 at Charade, 9 September 2018 at the Circuit Bugatti du Mans).

TOUR AUTO 2020

Before taking part in the Tour Auto in 2020, the car has since benefited from many elements of preparation.

After this fabulous race, it has been completely revised  and it is now ready for its next adventures in historic competition.
