Genuine “L”block ,All steel full race Craig Beck engine rebuild (dyno chart available).  On twin 45 Weber’s with alloy drysump remote tank. Remote filer and oil cooler, Titan pump, Aeroquip -12 lines, toothed pully belts, Wasp starter, Tilton clutch pack, Aeroquip -6 fittings and braided fuel lines, Tilton clutch pack

Quaife 4 speed straight cut gears, alloy bellhousing, Concentric clutch release bearing, 3.9 Diff Tran-X LSD, Alloy fuel tank , large capacity aluminium radiator. Hi-flow slimline fan, remote master cylinders, quick release steering wheel. brake proportioning valve, Perspex windows, , The harness is in date and a new plumbed in fire extinguisher was fitted in 2022.

Brief history:  Originally sold to dealer Clarkes Garage (Narborough) Ltd. in July 1968. After going through a number of owners (believed to be 4), it ended up with a Richard Ward in 1999 or thereabouts.  Richard Ward was a prominent racer of Elans in modsports and other classes in the late 1990s.  It appears that he and his wife Barbara relocated to Cyprus (subsequently to Greece itself) in 2002, taking the Elan with them.  It was registered to Barbara Ward with the Greek number HTT 442 and gained a Historic Vehicle Identity Form (070GR03), issued by the Automobile and Touring Club of Greece (ELPA) in September 2003 and has a FIVA identity card dated May 2003.
