The Peugeot 206 WRC was a rally car designed and developed by Peugeot Sport to compete in the World Rally Championship (WRC). It was first introduced in 1999 and went on to win the WRC manufacturer's championship in 2000, 2001, and 2002, as well as the driver's championship in 2000 and 2002.
The car was based on the production Peugeot 206, but it had significant modifications to make it suitable for rallying. It had a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produced around 300 horsepower, and it was mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. The car was equipped with all-wheel drive and had a sophisticated suspension system with adjustable dampers.
