For sale is this Porsche multi race winning 996 Carrera race car. This car has been built to an extremably high spec and has a Hartech built 3.4 engine, a brand new Porsche supplied gearbox with Wavetrac diff, new brake discs, calipers and race pads all round.  Ohlins 2 way coilovers which have recentley been refurbished. Also fitted is a large tank Accusump system for engine longevity and gives a maunal oil pressure boost manually.

The shell is a 98 shell and has a welded in multipoint Custom Cages roll cage fitted with additional bracing. In the front tub is fitted the race battery and electric power steering system.  

The car is for sale ready to test and race and comes complete with transponder and V-Box HD4 data logger. The seat belt is in date until the end of 2025 and the SPA design fire extinguisher system will be fully serviced once the car is sold. The car weighs 1226 Kg.

For the purchaser, a set-up and shakedown track day is included in the price with full track side support at either Silverstone, Snetterton, Castle Combe or Brands Hatch.

The car comes on lightly used Pirelli DHF slicks on Racing Dynamics rims and comes with an extra set of rims fitted sith Brand New Michelin wets.  

This car raced twice in 2023, winning class 2 in the Britcar 6 hour, along with 3rd overall at Donington. And again at  Snetterton in the Britcar Trophy championship round where it finished 2nd in class in both races.

Since then, it has undergone a refurb and changde to Porsche Club championship regs and will fit straight into class 1. The engine has been out and checked, new clutch fitted and given a full overhaul. 

The car is only for sale due to lack of use and other racing commitments by our driver. The car was built by County Classics Racing in 2010 and first competed in the Porche Club championship driven by Richard Higgins with great success, and more recentley in Britcar, again with Richard. Our current driver has also competed in it, in Britcar last year. 

Viewing at our Kent (TN12) workshop is highly recommended. The car wants for nothing and is ready to use and enjoy. County Classics would dearly love to continue running this firm favourite, and we are able to offer competitive race support, logistics.
