On offer is this superb Sebring inspired MGC GT race car which has been mine since 2010. The car was originally despatched from Abingdon to University Motors and there is a Heritage Certificate showing the original Mineral Blue paint and a stack of old MOTs and invoices from its road days including old registration documents evidencing just 3 previous owners.

On purchase, the car had a full body overhaul prior to being built up as the track day/race car it is now.  

Fully stripped out and with a full cage fitted, it has a pair of Tillett race seats, full instrumentation, race car battery with isolator, an extinguisher system, full harnesses etc.

Mechanically, the specification is detailed including a comprehensive engine rebuild with a lightened and balanced bottom end, stage 2 unleaded head with full race cams and triple Weber carbs with custom airbox, aluminium radiator and catch tank all sitting on Minilite style wheels with Willwood four pot calipers up front. A Quaife limited slip diff is fitted along with an AP competition clutch and a Ford 5 speed gearbox. Side windows and rear screen are all perspex.

The car has not been used since before the Covid pandemic. It drives and stops but will need checking over before going back on track or on the road. Lack of use, racing with other cars and a squeeze on my storage. is why it is now for sale.

The car is road legal and road registered with no Road Tax due its status as an "Historic Vehicle".
