THE CONCEPT

Eligible cars: F1 cars from 1986 to 2000 and F3000 cars from 1985 to 2000.

The aim of this new racing concept is to minimise the risk of incidents.

To achieve this, we have created the F1 90's Time Attack (F1 90's T).

The principle of the F190'sTimeAttack is to achieve the best progression between your reference time in timed practice and your reference time in the F1 90's Time Attack session.

The total track time per meeting will be 1h 40 minutes under the same safety and sporting conditions as a traditional speed competition.

 

THE CIRCUITS

The 2024 programme of the F1 90's Time Attack Mediteranean Challenge (F1 90's TMC) will consist of 4 events at Historic Grand Prix or other prestigious historic racing meetings on legendary and exotic circuits in the Mediterranean basin, including the Charade circuit event in demo format.

CIRCUIT DU CASTELLET

The first event will take place during the Historic French Grand Prix on April 19/20/21, 2024

CIRCUIT DE CHARADE

The second event will take place as a demo during the Charade Super Show on July 13 and 14, 2024

CIRCUITO DE NAVARRA

The third event will take place during the Navarra Historic on October 18/19/20, 2024

CIRCUIT SIDI DAOUI

The fourth event will take place during the Historic Morocco Grand Prix on November 8/9/10, 2024

 

TIMING OF THE TEST

5 rounds of 20 minutes per weekend (plus private practice sessions depending on the meeting).

Friday.  1 x Free Trial Session.

Saturday & Sunday. 1 x Timed Practice Session & 1 x Session of F1 90's Time Attack.

Time trials

During each timed practice session, the average of the 3 best times will be used.

F1 90's Time Attack

5-minute warm-up at the start of the session.
15 minutes of F1 90's Time Attack.
During the 15 minutes, you must complete a series of at least 5 laps.

The average of the three best laps will be used.

Ranking

The ranking for each F1 90's Time Attack session will be based on the progression (or not) between the reference time for timed practice and your F1 90's Time Attack reference time. The winner of the F1 90's Time Attack session will be the driver with the highest number of points.

One thousandth of a second is equal to one point.
The event ranking will be based on the cumulative results of the 2 F190'sTimeAttack heats.
The overall ranking will only be based on events 1, 3 and 4.
There will be an F1 ranking and an F 3000 ranking.
