Tecno F3 – 1970 – chassis number T 00 530 – acquired new and raced by the German racing driver Hermann Unhold. I have the original completed and signed order form dated 19th February 1969 ( Fr28’253.55) with an estimated delivery date of 25th March to 3rd April 1970. I also have the original ATTEST Fur RENNWAREN DER FORMEL “3” dated 28th April 1970. The “Tecno book” records Hermann Unhold as the winner in 4 races in 1970: Hockenheim -10/05/70, Sembach – 26/07/70, Mainz-Finthen – 30/08/70 and Mendig Mayen – 04/10/70. I acquired the car directly from Hermann in 2018. He raced the car then sold it to a “tin top racer” who he understand only drove it a few times. Years later Herman reacquired the car and rebuilt it. Hermann then raced the car in historic races (having also raced Tecno chassis number T 00 466 in historics). In 2010 he entered the car at Monaco. I have a series of original photos that were given to me by Hermann and these along with the other documents will remain with the car. The car is in original condition and has been painstakingly restored. Since I have had the car I have had a set of nickel chromed wishbones made which are currently on the car. Hermann told me that the engine had been refreshed with only a shakedown test at Hockenheim prior to selling the car to me. I have tested the car twice since. The car has the original Tecno magnesium alloy wheels and will come with the following spares package: Second set of Tecno magnesium wheels with wets, full set of gear ratios in a wooden transport box (I also have Hermann’s sheets with the gear ratios for many European circuits) and the original wishbones with rose joints. The car has a peashooter and silenced exhaust. This is a beautiful F3 car which has been to Monaco and will be eligible for other classic events such as the Goodwood members meeting. The car is currently at Corinium Morotsport and Neil Cox has recently prepped the car  - all new fluids, replaced fuel pump, various pipes etc etc. Neil already runs a Tecno in HSCC F3 and will be again in 2024. He could run the car for a purchaser if the car remains in the UK– two Tecnos would be pretty cool. My contact number is set out below.
