Built by Paul Keevill in 2018 and based on 1964 Elan S2 serial 26/4123 reg. no CGX319B (purchased in 2016 from renowned Lotus guru Pat Thomas complete with original green log book).
A certain winner in the right hands, results since the car’s debut in 2019 speak for themselves:
7 overall wins plus 15 overall podiums, 14 class wins. Numerous poles and fastest laps: 2:53 Spa, 1:35 Dijon, 1:28 Thruxton, 0:54 Brands, 1:58 Oulton, 2: 10 Snetterton 300 etc etc.
Lightweight 26R body with 26R chassis, Safety Devices roll cage, fully rose-jointed suspension with Tony Thompson roll bar, dampers and springs, 1700cc dry-sumped Craig Beck Racing Twin-cam (192bhp @ 7750rpm, 144 ft. lbs torque @ 5500rpm, safe to 8500rpm), all alloy driveline casings including Quaife dog box and 4.1:1 Salisbury LSD, magnesium 6” x 13” 26R wheels with Yoko A048s, Revolution RFX 6” x 13” alloys with Yoko A539s.
