Rebuilt XK140 C-Type engine. Matching numbers cylinder head, block and gearbox casing belonging to an unknown XK140MC. Looking for an XK120/XK140 engine bay to drop into or build a car around this special engine! An engine with story to tell, upon it’s return from USA, the sump contained a family of 4 mice, all travelling illegally without any form of ID. Engine build photos available upon request.

Absolutely no expense spared when building this engine, only the best for everything!

Machining done by the artisans Chesman Motorsport in Coventry with new hardened lead-free seats, new bronze guides, new tappet followers, large valves, block : re-bore, hone and skim skim flat, new cam bearings, new double valve springs, new stem seals, oil bungs removed and fitted new, acid dipped and crack tested, bottom end balanced. Tested to 5400 rpm at Mass Dyno, it can be seen running on our engine test bed in Nottingham.
