Porsche 968 Sport Race Car. 1994. 106k miles. Originally built for the Porsche Club Speed Championship prior to my ownership. Purchased by me in 2012 to use as a fast road and track day car. During my time with the car it has been regularly maintained with all major works and maintenance carried out by 968 specialists EMC Motorsport. 

The car was fitted with a weld in multi point Safety Devices cage, Sparco Evo 2 Race Seat and 6 Point Harness, Lifeline Fire Extinguisher System and Battery Kill Switch when it was originally built. During my ownership it has also been fitted with EMC spec Gaz Gold Adjustable Coil Overs, Lightened Single Mass Flywheel, New Clutch, Kaaz LSD, 'Big Red' 993 GT2 / Turbo Brake Calipers and Vented Discs, MO30 Anti Roll Bar and Varley Red Top Race Battery. Lots of invoices.

This car really is much more than the sum of its parts! Very well set up Geo and corner weighted by EMC, it will often embarress much newer and more expensive machinery. It is very forgiving (perfect 50/50 weight distribution) and easy to drive.  Would make a competitive car in multiple championships or a very fast and capable track day car. 

This is without doubt the best car I have ever owned and I will be really sad to see it go. It has never missed a beat. Low cost to maintain and totally reliable during my 8 years of ownership. 

Timing belts, rollers and water pump replaced in 2018 and cams and camchain inspected as part of its regular maintenance. Very little track use since. Recent oil and filter change.

 Comes with Spare Set of Genuine Porsche Wheels shod with good Nankang NS 2R soft compound tyres (for wet) - as seen in the images, and the Original Set of Porsche Cup 2 Wheels shod with worn Michelin Cups. Additional spare wheels available by seperate negotiation, as are several spare parts. Passenger Seat and Harness also available if required (mounting points fitted).

This car is on the button and ready to go. Perfect as it is for track day use but will require a few date sensitive parts sorting for racing. Seats and harnesses are in good condition but out of date and the extinguisher needs a service and refill. There are a few very minor track related blemishes to the paint, but the car has never been crashed and presents very well. All 8 wheels are good and straight but would benefit from a refurb cosmetically. Inside the cabin, the floor and cage would benefit from a repaint. This too would be purely for cosmetics and is reflected in the price.
