JAGUAR XJS RACE or TRACK DAY CAR FOR SALE

The previous buyer has failed to complete the sale having paid a deposit in early August.

Many times the arranged collection was cancelled at the last minute! They have made no further contact with us since November to make the final payment and collect the car, so it is available again.

The car is located in Leiston in Suffolk.

Hopfully not long to go now till racing starts up again.

This jaguar XJS would be ideal, it just needs a little bit of finishing plus of course a driver!

This car has been successfully raced as a JEC Class D car in both the JEC and TTRS series prior to the current modifications. This car would probably be most suitable for Class B in the current JEC saloon and GT championship. It may need some mods to comply with the latest regulations.

The car was originally prepared for racing by Coventry Cats.

We have spent many hours putting the car back together after a seroius weight reduction exercise. Unfortunately our circumstances have now changed and we have to reluctantly move it on. Please see list of modifications under Specifications below.

It will need some work depending on its intended use. It could however be used or tested on a track straight away.

It now has an aluminium boot floor, alloy fuel tank and swirl pot. Plastic windows (apart from windscreen), Outboard rear discs, handbrake removed and hydraulic line lock fitted. AJ16 4L engine, 16" Speedlines with Toyo 888's plus spare wheels. Lightened lift off bonnet and boot. Main wiring loom removed. See below for full list.
