Caterham 7 - S3 Imperial Chassis – PARTS ONLY

Please note first of all that this chassis is for PARTS ONLY.

It is a genuine Caterham S3 chassis (Imperial) which is from 2001 car.

I originally bought it in good faith as a complete working car but upon close inspection when working on a comprehensive rebuild of the car later realised that the chassis has a twist in it of approximately 6 to 8 mm from the front left hand corner through the chassis.

As my intention was to race the car, I decided to rebuild the car onto a new chassis.

There are several extremely useful parts of the chassis that could be used :

• Drivers lowered floor – approx. £200 new

• Passengers lowered floor – approx. £200 new

• Rear Basket, (that was fitted with a brand new rear panel before I realised the twist in the chassis) – rear basket and panel would be ~£800 new

If you have the time and skills (I don’t !) then it may well be possible to straighten the chassis effectively for use as a track car, but as that is beyond my sphere of knowledge then I am offering it for sale as parts only.
