I am selling my multiple race winning Formula Ford Van Diemen RF89

The car has a known history after I purchased it last year from Peter Daly. Since the purchase it has had a complete rebuild including –

Stripped and re powder coated chassis
New floor
New adjustable Quantum Dampers
Brand new lightened bodywork – in white gel coat
New brake disks include lightened bells
New uprights
New AP callipers
New wishbones – apart from the top rockers
New hardened drive shafts
New CV joints
Many new rose joints
Complete new gold anodised nuts and bolts
New wiring loom
New starter motor
2 new radiators
New Samco water piping
4 new wheel bearings – rebuild to give a very free car
New OMP Steering wheel
New AIM Data logger
Gearbox rebuilt by JP (March 14)
Engine rebuilt by Neil Bold (April 14) – currently got 723 miles on the engine – all logged

The car was so light after the rebuild that I had to buy a new Red Top 40 battery to make the weight limit. Without battery it is currently 407KG (limit 420).

Comes with 2 sets of tyres both on black rims –

1 set – 3 race old rubber
1 set – Brand new rubber (still got stickers on)

This car won the Northern Formula Ford Championship and the Star of Anglesey last season (2013) and came 2nd in the Triple Crown and National Championship even though I didn’t enter 4 of the 14 races)

Total race wins in the last year and half is 11

It is possible to rent this car out this season for any FF1600 races including the Festival and Walter Hays Trophy but it must be run by Myerscough College Racing Team.
