Description:

RARE FERRARI 458 GT3 IN "AS NEW" CONDITION.

One of only 110, this 2012 Ferrari 458 FIA GT3 race car has both New Zealand and Australian providence, with documented lap records, pole positions, and race win's to its credit, would suit collector.

The condition of the car is as brand new as can be seen in the attached photo's. The car's original log book is present and correct.

This 2012 car was updated to 2014/15 spec by Kessel Racing in Switzerland, and returned to Trass Family Motorsport New Zealand in 2015, where in the hands of Jono Lester and Graeme Smyth, it proved the car to beat in Australasian GT racing.

Following a relatively small 'off' in torrential rain in November 2017 [at the Australian GT Championship Hampton Downs race] the TFM team took the decision to replace the complete body shell rather than risk compromising the integrity of the chassis, by attempting to repair the bent front chassis rails, here in New Zealand.

A completely new Body shell [see photo] and front subframe, plus all damaged body parts and components, were replaced with genuine new ferrari parts from Kessel Racing, including a complete new wiring loom etc, in  March 2018.
The engine, gearbox, and half shaft's etc, had only 2,300 Kilometers runing time, at the time of the accident and other than some installation, shakedown laps, the car has not raced since the total rebuild.

The car has also been upgraded with 5 way dampers, and optional unrestrictedl 580BHP factory ECU. BOP, ECU's, restrictor's and weightbox are also included

The car comes with a ful set of suspension parts, some brand new, spare body panel, etc, and includes 2 sets of Motegi Magnesium ultra Lightweight wheels.

The car also comes with 2 custom made car covers, one heavy duty storage cover and one race track rain proof light cover.

Ferrari only ever built 110, 458 FIA GT3 CAR'S, and as with all Ferrari's competition cars they will only increase in value when they cease racing. This car has all the providence needed to be a great investment for a collector, including competing in the 2016, 12 hour Bathurst race, now considered to be one of the premier long distances race in the world.
