Description:

The Mazda 26-B 4-rotor engine has been completely rebuilt by Downing/Atlanta, Inc.  We did all US rebuilding for the Mazda Factory for several years and have restored two of the 1989 – 1991 Le Mans factory cars.  In addition, we built and maintained the 4-rotors for the Mazda Factory's US IMSA GTO program, winning both the driver’s and manufacturer’s championships in 1991.   

The car started the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2002 with Jim Downing, Yojiro Terada and John Fergus (DNF).  It is very aerodynamic - 198 MPH With 450 HP Mazda (Restricted) 4-rotor engine.   (It was originally powered by a Peugeot 4-cylinder turbo.)

It has a Hewland DGC 5-speed gearbox and the package includes a complete spare set of bodywork and molds, 4 spare 18” OZ Wheels as well as many other mechanical spares.
