2011 FORD MUSTANG 5.0 GT COYOTE ENGINE (DISASSEMBLED WITH DAMAGE TO PISTONS)

PAXTON NOVI 2200SL SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM COMPLETE

Removed from 2012 Mustang GT at the tail end of 2012 due to piston damage (see pics) shortly after having the Paxton kitfitted by a Mustang specialist.

At the time of removal the car had sub 10k miles on the clock and the Paxton kit had been fitted for less than 500 miles so other than the pistons everything is in extremely good condition, including the bores.

Luckily the block/bores, crank, rods and cylinder heads got away unscathed with no damage.

We suspect that the issue was caused by either poor mapping or too much boost put through a stock high comp engine.

it was decided to return the car to stock and purchased a brand new crate engine from ford.

i then purchased this engine and the supercharger kit from the owner with a view to rebuild with low comp pistons and fit to a 1950s Ford stepside project.

Unfortunately the Stepside project was side lined due to other projects so i am now left with this taking up valuable workshop space and feel it is time to let someone else have the opportunity to rebuild and put to use.

Paxton Novi 2200sl supercharger system (brand new at time of fitting) RRP ~ £4800 Capable of producing 615 bhp and 475 ft/lb @ 7.5-8.5 psi

This kit includes : Supercharger, all fitting brackets, belts, pulleys, Maf housing, boost pipework, high flow bypass valve with filter, intercooler, uprated injectors,

injector rail spacers, header tank (missing cap), air filter with housing and Paxton installation manual.

- 5.0ltr coyote Cylinder block with crank shaft (manufacture date 22/03/2011) - bores are clean and undamaged - cranks journals are all clean with no damage.

- Both cylinder heads including camshafts, vvt etc.

- Rockers and followers.

- Crank pulley, timing chains, guides, tensioners and cover.

- Sump pan, windage tray and valve covers.

- Oil pump and pick-up (this has been stripped, inspected and rebuilt with no damage present).

- Water pump.

- Pistons and connecting rods (PLEASE NOTE - PISTONS ARE DAMAGED AND WILL REQUIRE REPLACING - JE pistons are avaiable in various compression ratios).

- Inlet manifold (brand new).

- Ford racing bottom end set (brand new).

- Head gaskets and head bolts (brand new).

- Ford Coyote performance engine building manual.

Due to the large number of components and size/weight this is collection only.
