Bespoke 7.5 T Race Car transporter MAN TGL 180

7.5-ton race car transporter with bespoke rear ramp door and beavertail design.

The rear door design is the main feature of this vehicle. The custom design was commissioned by ourselves, the rear door has been built to lower down the ground, creating a ramp enabling access to rear of the truck. The beavertail section continues at the same angle as the door to create easy loading and unloading, without compromising inside storage space. This not only means pain free loading of low slung race cars, but also tool boxes, tyre trolleys etc. Once loaded, the back door is raised back up into place to create the clean and flat look to the rear of the vehicle which was our design objective. The rear door also has built in LED lights to create the unique and stunning look of a proper race truck!

Continuing on the exterior, the rear has just had a fresh paint, giving it a very nice clean and professional finish. On the servicing side, there is a step cassette section, which the steps and hand rail bolt into place in seconds. This gives convenient access to the side door meaning the rear door can remain in place giving a professional look in the paddock. The truck comes complete with custom made side skirts which gives the truck a low and streamline look (also less drag with MPG benefits) without affecting ground clearance and accessibility. Built into skirts are 3 large storage lockers, maximising the storage capacity of the vehicle.

Truck comes supplied with integral compressor which has a connection point on the outside to plug in an airline for servicing.

The sleeper cab is a real benefit which is ideal for test days or long overnight journeys. Overall the cab is extremely clean and a very nice and comfortable place to be on long journeys. It’s been religiously cleaned and valeted.

Overall this truck has been the epicentre of our race team for the past 6 years. It has been religiously cared for and serviced regardless of cost. It’s our pride and joy and we take extreme care in the way we represent ourselves so the truck has to been cherished again regardless of cost. It is a reluctant sale but we are now expanding and need something with more carrying capacity (New truck in build now) so unfortunately, we have to let her go. It’s a real head turner not only on the road but in the paddock and always attracts admiration for its stunning looks and design.

With the 180 engine truck has loads of power and pulls regardless, cruises on motorway and gives very good MPG, more fuel efficient than a transit pulling car trailer!

MOT till end of October 2018, can arrange a new MOT for new owner

Currently has Odometer reading of 370K miles which is minimal for a truck of this build quality. Will go up slightly as used on daily basis.
