Description:

This is a very unusual UVA McLaren, it was built by Andorina in Germany from UVA parts. It differs from the UVA in that it is powered by a Chevy V8. I cannot find another one and don’t know how many were built, but I believe there were only 15 UVA’s in total built.

 

The Chevy V8 450 BHP using Aluminum Heads and high lift cam with bespoke Headers. The car is very powerful but docile enough to drive on the road.

Imported from Germany 11 years ago and re-registered in Ireland, the car has full German documentation and Irish registered with 1969 number plates. Also registered with Motorsport Ireland as 1969 McLaren M6GT and has a Motorsport Ireland racing log Book (FIA).

The car was rebuilt and is complete with the original bodies and molds. Light weight ones now fitted for racing. The car has additional parts fitted for racing but it would be easy to return to road going spec.

MSD ignition. With new billet distributor

Rebuilt Renault 21 transaxle with one piece strengthened lay shaft ( the standard one breaks with this much power)

Two Seats (the second is not in the car but I have it)

Electric water pump.
