Ginetta G40 GT5 Challenge Car

Built in 2013 to GT5 spec with Zetec 1.8 engine, MBE injection, throttle bodies, sealed Quaife 6 speed sequential gearbox, sealed diff, AIM dash and logger and air jacks. Life plumbed in fire system (out of date). Harness in date to the end of 2019.
Last raced in GT5 Challenge in 2015. During my ownership the car has raced once in 750 MC Club Enduro round at Silverstone (90 min Race) in 2016. Since then the car had been used for driver training as we have another G40 for racing.
The gearbox was refreshed by Ginetta approx. 25 hours ago and a new clutch was fitted at the same time.
There is a choice of engines available with this car depending on where you want to race it.
Currently fitted is 1.8 Zetec fully rebuilt to GT5 spec but does not have the Ginetta seals in place. This engine has 17 hours on it and has never been raced.
We also have the original GT5 sealed engine. This has 120 hours on it and is probably ready for a refresh. It runs and was still in use when we removed it.
The chassis has approx. 5200 miles on it. The bodywork has been painted red at some point in its life. This front windscreen is cracked, but is still fine to use.
The car is currently on Uniroyal RainSport 3 tyres which are our “Wet Tyres”. These are ideal for learning the car, but the car can run DZ03G, Advan 048’s, or slicks/wets as required. We could possibly supply other wheel/tyre combinations if required.
This car could run in 750MC Club Enduro in Class C, CSSC New Millennium, Britcar, GT Cup or Ginetta GT5 challenge. It would also make an awesome track day car as it carries huge corner speed and can embarrass some very exotic road cars. At 850kg and approx. 160hp.
£15950 with the engine currently fitted, £14950 with the Ginetta sealed engine or £13850 with no engine.
