Currently racing in Open Sports Series (OSS) and Castle Combe GTs. Eligible for the new ROC series.

Full bare metal rebuild (see photos) in 2014 by Jim Yardley and only 5 weekends use since.

Raced in 2014 and 2015 in the Open Sports Series with numerous podiums.

280bhp anderson Vauxhall XE race engine. steel crank and rods ,at throttle bodies,omex ecu,lightwight litham batterys

Heavily developed aerodynamics by Jonathan Hair and Derby University. Full CFD model available which has been validated by on circuit pressure measurements.

Carbon Fibre bodywork and twin tear wing set up.

~500kg without fuel but all other fluids.

The car was purchased in 2013 and underwent a full ground up, no expense spared rebuild.

The chassis (T45) was stripped, checked, repaired, powder coated and repaneled. (see photos).

The car has a completely new floor with revised diffuser tunnels (designed using CFD) and a brand new Simpson exhaust to SBD dimensions.

New spacers, top hats and rod ends.

All aluminium components have been re-anodised.

Prior to purchase the car had the Hewland FTR and Geartronics Paddle shift fitted by Mark Bailey (over £14k spent).

 

The car has astonishing levels of grip lapping the Silverstone National in 55.3s , Castle Combe 1.03s and Rockingham (Long) 1.24.5s . The gear change is a delight and the engine is very torquey. The video attached is at Rockingham and against cars with 40-50 more BHP. Since the CFD development , I can honestly say that all the cars raced against have had inferior corner speed. this was on the old
