DAF 65 CF220 18 Ton Race Truck and large awning

Used by a professional Kart race team and can easily be converted for race cars, rally, bikes or Moto Cross.

The Truck has a sleeper cab, has full MOT from December 2018 with many new tyres, new power steering, new brake piping and has been regularly inspected and maintained being used throughout the UK with occasional European trips.  The truck drives well and has a good speed limiter.  It is painted in white and we have removed many of the logos so that it is easily reliveried.  The belly lockers are large and currently used for the awning storage but could hold many equipment items.  The rear is fitted with a 1.5 tonne tail lift for easy access of equipment or vehicles. 

The truck was new in 2004 and has a mileage of 418,500 Km equivalent to just 260,000 miles.  It was repainted in 2013 and is in very good condition and just showing a few areas that could be touched up.   

The rear box is 8m long and its interior is fitted out with benches and racked for a kart team but this can be removed or altered to suit your requirements.   On its roof, there is a half walkway which could be converted into a full viewing area and is used for putting the awning up.

Inside the rear box is fully fitted out in white with a grey tiled floor and has removeable work benches plus aluminium kart tyre and engine racks.

The race truck comes with a large side awning which is very flexible in the number of bays erected.  The main section is three bays with an 8m projection giving an area of 8m x 8m alongside the rear box.  There are an addition four bays giving a maximum size of 8m x 18m which can be increased in increments of 2.5m - 10.5m x 8m, 13m x 8m, or 15.5m x 8m.  A few of the outer side awning sheets do have Protrain logos on but these can be removed using white spirit.  The awning was new in 2011 and upgraded in 2013 and looks very smart, with white roof, white top section and red lower with silver pelmets and floor.  Any new owner could re-sheet and have a brand-new awning using the original framework.

The truck has been fantastic for our team and we are only selling it as we are down-sizing.  We are based in Buckingham and pleased to demonstrate it to any potential buyer.
