For sale, this amazing and truly unique 1967 Chevron B8 with lots of racing history from the 1969 Monza 1000 to several Dutch chbampionship races in the seventies all the way to more recently the Dutch historic grand prix of 2012.

Technical details:

• BMW M10 2000cc
• 198 hp at 7,000 rpm 
• 218 Nm at 4,000 rpm
• 2 double weber
• FT200 Hewland Gearbox
• The Chevron is in possession of a FIA passport.

Many original spare parts come with the car. Such as cylinder head, front wishbones and different gears.

The most unique feature of this Chevron B8 is that it’s the only one which was factory delivered as a left hand drive car. This is proven by photographs of the Nurburgring 1000km in 1968. This Chevron was factory delivered with the BMW engine. Originally delivered to a German gentleman by the name of Nikolaus Killenberg. He entered this BMW powered Chevron in several famous events as can be seen below:

In 1973 Kees decided to store the car and in 2003 it finally saw the light of day again when Leo Kemmer bought the car and gave it a well-deserved extensive restoration. Leo only used original Chevron parts. Leo also decided not to interfere with the amazing patina the car has as a sort of tribute.

Unfortunally Leo Kemmer passed away in 2014. Leaving behind his beloved and carefully rebuilt Chevron B8.
