Description:

This car was built from an immulate shell which was acid dipped to remove all underseal and surface rust, before being dipped in primer. It was seam welded and fitted with a T45 cage before being painted in Old English White(original colour)with a Balmoral blue stripe.

Specification.

Engine - All steel 1293cc Swiftune, with omega pistons, latest spec cylinder head, latest profile cam shaft and twin su carbs. 5.5inch clutch and lightweight flywheel.

Gearbox - Dog Box recently fitted by Rae Davis.

Diff - LSD with EN40 Steel halfshafts and double bearing hubs for racing.

Suspension - Front- Rae Davis front springs and anti roll bar, armstrong adjustable lever shockers imported from Peter Cauldwell at World Wide Imports, Wisconsin, USA. Front anti dive kit also fitted.

Rear - Rae Davis leaf springs and  A- Frame anti tramp bar, adjustable lever shockers by Peter Cauldwell USA.

Wheels -  Weller 5.5 x 13 on Good Dunlop CR65 Historic tyres. The front windscreen is laminated and heated

Spares- 1 set spares wheels and tyres as above,8 yokohama tyres for Spa,doors,wings,bootlid,bonnets,rear bumper(needs chromed)front anti roll bar,spare shocks,soft fleece indoor cover.

Not to be confused with  lesser specification Academy cars, which dont have steel engines or dog boxes and are significantly slower.It is Eligible for Goodwood,HRDC,HSCC and many other championships.

The car competed in the Goodwood St MARYS Trophy in 2014 driven by Gordon Shedden.

The car is only being sold as i am retiring from racing.
