Built by Bruce Stevens of Plan B Motorsport with recent work by Wolfe Manufacturing, and raced so successfully with Leo Voyazides and Simon Hadfield.

Beaten only by Leo's Ford Falcon at the 2016 Brands Hatch HSCC Superprix in the Historic Touring Cars.

Presented with only around 90 minutes running on the mechanicals since a no expense spared full rebuild following accident damage. Featuring the lightest and best quality components on the market, the Cortina is ballasted with lead to meet the 750kg minimum weight limit.

Lotus Twin Cam engine built by Ian Claridge of Anglian Engine Services in March 2016, and set up optimised on rolling road post installation. 90 minutes running time.
Inconel exhaust by Joe Ellis of BTB Exhausts. Both silenced and straight through option with the car.
Gearbox by BGH Geartech. 90 minutes running time.
Differential by Dave Mac Propshafts. 90 minutes running time.
Dampers are Koni, serviced by SP Suspension.
Full 6 point welded in roll cage by Andy Robinson Race Cars in 4130 Chrome Moly.
Recaro Pro Racer Spa Hans Carbon Kevlar seat, very lightweight at 7kg.

Accompanied by another set of Minilite style aluminium wheels with Dunlop tyres, a spare gearbox, a spare differential, straight through exhaust pipe, and boxes of running spares containing various brake pads, shoes, electrical parts, bearings and other parts.

Also included are the new FIA HTPs which were issued in July 2016, Andy Robinson Race Cars Roll Cage Certificate and V5.

Identifiable by it’s trademark screaming exhaust note like no other and blue windscreen sun strip, this Cortina is the car which is held as the one to beat.

With a variety of grids across Europe in which it can compete, including U2TC, Masters, HSCC and the Goodwood Revival, now is the time to get ready to attack in 2017 and why not do that with the best of the best.

In the onboard video below during the 2012 Silverstone Classic, after a drive through penalty, victory was only missed by 1.4 seconds. The fastest lap time was nearly 2 seconds quicker than any other car in the race.
