Description:

The car was an ex-Red Rose Racing driven by John Hine.  It comes with 2 sets of spare wheels, spare nose with lights. 

Have owned the car since 2000, raced in Orwell Supersports Cup with many class wins and 3rd overall in 2006 Championship.  The car was then updated to the latest specification with new HTP papers.  Then I raced in CER1 and FIA Masters Historic Sportscar Championship and HSCC Pre '80s Series.  The car is also eligible for Classic Le Mans.

HISTORY:-

It was raced by John Hine in April 1971 as his first race for John Bridges for Red Rose Racing Team at Oulton Park, Round 1 of the RAC British Sportscar Champioship, but DNF with engine problem.

On 18 April, the car was entered for one-off to Brian Redmond and Richard Attwood at Paul Ricard for the opening round of the European 2-litre Championship where they qualified 11th and finished 8th in the field of 28 cars.

A month later, considerable improvement when Hine setting a new lap record, finished 2nd at Silverstone for Round 3 of the British Championship.

2 weeks later, Hine finished 4th in the 2nd Round of 2-litre European Championship at Salzburgring.

Then I bought it in year 2000 and kept it ever since.  This car has been an absolute joy to drive and race whilst in my care.
