Megapin - Hill climb single seater

Original car designed by Ian Scott and built in 1995 using a carbon fibre and Kevlar tub.

The car had an MSA compliant roll over bar fitted and the log book renewed in 2015. At the same time the engine was upgraded to a 2014 Yamaha cross plane engine from Yorkshire Engine Services. This is standard apart from the disabling of the slipper clutch and installation of an EBC uprated clutch. It has a fly by wire throttle and variable height intake trumpets. New items this year include a fuel tank, pump and filter, seat belt and a new set of Avon crossplies in June (receipt  available). The suspension has ex BAR double adjustable Koni’s which have been modified by Raceline. The front suspension has been converted to a monoshock set-up. All in all, a light (310KG wet) sweet handling car with plenty of power (Yamaha quote 182 bhp at the crank), a unique look (made the programme cover at Prescott in June) and sound which deserves a better (younger?) driver. A great entry level opportunity at £7,500 including wets and some spares. Would consider selling the rolling chasis separately for £5,250.
